The GBU-31 is a 2,000lbs GPS guided air-to-ground bomb. This lure shares similar charachteristics as it tracks and targets pelagics. It features twin turbines internally housed to throw massive bubble trails through the skirt while leaving the underwater image of the head clear-like a real frantic fish or squid. Visual and audio cues drive fish nuts. It can be rigged and fished like any tradtional trolling plug. Hand rigged premium vinyl skirts enhance action. Made of durable materials and each part is interchangable to vary every aspect of the lures performance. This lure is 16" long, and puts much less stress on your tackle than a traditional plug.

Like everything else on the boat, we reccomend a freshwater washdown after use.
This lure is modular; as such, we will be coming out with different nose geometries to give you different swimming profiles. In the GBU-31 class we will also offer smaller overall length bodies for a more compact lure. Every aspect of the lure can be tuned. So stay tuned.
If you want your lure rigged, say that in the comments when you purchase. Specify 400/600lbs mono, andf 11/0-12/0 hook. Note: Tritonal Tackle is heavily influenced by the work of Captain Steve Campbell and his seminole book, Blue Marlin Magic. As such we reccomend a single 11/0 or 12/0 hook stiff rigged with wire in between the mono. Lock the hook in the grommet slightly angled toward the prop wash depending on if the lure is run port or starboard. This gives an superior hook up ratio to any other method with the greatest chance of survival which is backed up with data.
